A seven tower and two folders Tensor T400BE press with DCOS drive and control system was installed and substantially increased the color and pagination capacity compared to the Solna press it replaced.     Würzburg, 7 May 2020 – Whereas Koenig & Bauer was able to achieve a sound group order intake of €271.5m in the first quarter of 2020, the coronavirus pandemic, which has been spreading rapidly since January, has already had a considerable impact on revenue and earnings. With group revenue 25.3% lower than in the prior year at €172.4m, EBIT was –€34.9m. Restrictions especially in travelling initially imposed in China and then gradually in many parts of the world are having a significant impact on order and project processing for the delivery, assembly and installation of the machines at our international customers. The effects are also being felt in the services area. At –€36.6m, group net earnings in the first quarter of 2020 translate into earnings per share of –€2.22. Read more ...

    5 May 2020 – ESH Médias, based in Nyon, is a Swiss-French group active in the regional press, advertising, printing and digital sectors. Its printed products ArcInfo, Le Nouvelliste and La Côte reach 197,000 readers daily. ESH Média’s brands are also successful digitally, with more than 5.5 million hits per month.     5 May 2020 – Corse Presse, based in Ajaccio, is the parent company of the only island daily newspaper Corse Matin with an average daily circulation of 31,000 copies in Corsica and the PACA region (Provence, Alps, Côte d’Azur). As part of its modernisation, Corse Presse has chosen the alfa BusinessLine solution from alfa Media to optimise the management of its advertisements and facilitate the development of its advertising network.     23 April 2020 – The Luxemburger Wort, published by Saint-Paul Luxembourg, is the largest and oldest daily newspaper in Luxembourg, with a circulation of around 55,000 copies. Its publications appear mainly in German, information and news in French and Luxembourgish are also part of the repertoire of national and international reporting.
